I Adore These Kids

After scouring through Pinterest and some of my favorite scrapbooking blogs, I was feeling some inspiration. While visiting Maggie Holmes blog, I found her post called, Free Valentine’s Day Printable and Clip Art.  I printed that cute page right away and continued scrolling through her blog. I was particularly inspired by a layout she created using her Open Book Collection, I decided to ‘scrap-lift’ my own version.

Sitting down at my desk and creating was an incredible feeling. I’m so grateful to have make the time to play with paper again, it really is what I love to do.

Creating a layout where my cute nieces and nephew are highlighted was pretty darn fun, as well. I really do adore them.

After printing out the Maggie Holmes Valentine Printable, I cut out some of the details (the bird, the kids…a heart) and used them as embellishments. I also broke down and used my sewing machine on the layout. I know, crazy, right? I’m started to get the hang of this whole ‘scrapbooking’ thing again.
