The Not-So-Pretty-Paper Post
aka the “What-I’ve-been-up-to-recently-and-why-I-haven’t-been-posting post”.
The kids just had the last 10 days off school. Yep, 10 days! Today was their first day back. Whew.
I think it would have been a lot more fun, except for the fact that it was the same week the Office Manager quit at work. Guess who the only other person in town is that knows how to do her job?
Uh huh, that would be me.
Needless to say, I’ve been busy…and not with Pretty Paper Projects.
I’ve posted most of the following photos on Facebook. So this post is for those of you who haven’t seen them yet (you’re welcome Mom).
The kids came out of the bathroom the other day with “injuries” wrapped carefully in toilet paper. Here’s a couple of their “painful” photos:
Izabelle signed Parker’s “cast” with a red pen. She decided it looked more like blood than her name.
To my little girl, fake blood is cool.
So her “cast” had a little extra ‘”painful” blood.
Speaking of casts, the kids and I decided to make False Face Masks during their time off school. It was really fun! Parker said it was relaxing. Izabelle just liked having the Vaseline all over her face.

Izabelle:
Now, all they have left to do is decorate them.
On Valentines Day, Dan and I took the kids up to the snow for a little sledding fun.

Sliding down the hill:
Izabelle at the bottom:
She said it was AWESOME!
Parker reaching the bottom of the hill:
Dan getting smacked with one of Parker’s snowballs:
These photos remind me of Parker’s favorite joke. Do you want to hear it?
OK.
Why did the toliet paper roll down the hill?
Give up?
To get to the bottom. Literally, the bottom.
Parker added the word literally, which made it super cute.
I hope you all forgive me for not posting something crafty…I’ll get right on it. Gulp.
