Fashionista!

This 12×12 Frame is a chalkboard/magnet board that I made using the Fashionista Line from Graphic 45.

For the Magnet/Chalkboard, I primed a 12×12 metal sheet, let it dry for one hour, then spray-painted the metal with black chalkboard paint.

I have some additional close-ups of this little “Cinderella” Magnet, maybe I’ll put them in another post.

These are the Graphic 45 Fashionista Ladies, I surrounded them with flowers.  The centers of the flowers are red buttons also cut from the Fashionista Line and then embellished with rhinestones and pearls.

It was a fun project to make.  I would have liked to have it hanging from wire but the wire I purchased was too thin.  My Mom thought of adding little hangers at the bottom of the frame to hang jewelry, very clever but I ran out of time.  I needed to ship it off for the Graphic 45 CHA booth.

This project finally arrived in Orange County (a little beat up) last night.

I’m headed back to California tomorrow (weather permitting).  It’s a cool -14 degrees here in Idaho this morning.  I’m not sure how planes take off in this sort of weather.  It is, however, cold enough for the city to close the schools today.  Brrrr.

I’m not sure if I’ll be venturing out today.  I may just stay here in my parent’s warm and cozy house.
