Packing My Bags
This photo is a little “sneak peek” of the new Fashionista line from Graphic 45. I made a little mini book with the new paper and sent it off for the Graphic 45 booth at the CHA (Craft and Hobby Association) Trade Show in Orange County.
And now, I’m packing. I’m headed out of town.
I’m leaving my husband and kids behind and going on a little big trip all by myself. It’s hard to leave the fam for so long (10 days) but I’m also looking forward to time spent with my Parents & Grandparents.
First stop, Idaho:
I’ll be playing with my Mom, scrapbooking and crafting. I’m sure I’ll be headed over to my Dad’s store and helping him out a little (my brother, Seth and his wife, Kristin work there too). I’ll also get a chance to hang out with my little sister, Emilee and her horses for a bit.
Second stop, Utah:
My Mom and I are going to drive over to Provo to visit my Grandparents. I’m super-excited about seeing their new home (they’ve been there awhile but it will be my first time) and catching up with them. There’s a zillion photos to share and memories to make.
Third stop, Orange County, CA:
My Mom and I have decided to make the trek back to CA for the CHA Trade Show. We’re busting at the seams to see all the new scrapbooking treasures coming out. My Mom and I will be hanging out with Karen and her sister Deb, from Paradise Scrapbook Boutique gathering new paper & products and most importantly, inspiration for classes.
Karen was so sweet to invite me last year (it was my first time) and now I’m hooked. There’s nothing like it. Seriously. There are not words to describe the feeling of CHA. But I’ll try anyway….hmmm…Fantastic comes to mind…and fun…gorgeous, inspirational….OK, maybe there are words. I could go on and on.
After CHA my Mom and I are headed back to Idaho and then I’ll be flying back to CA a couple days later. It’s going to be a wirl wind trip but it will most definitely be a blast!
I’ll be blogging along the way. Stay tuned!
Love, Christie
