A Sneak Peek at one of my CHA projects…

What a CRAZY week!

Getting projects ready for CHA,

Preparing Kits for my Paradise Scrapbook Boutique Class,

Helping Courtney Move,

Preparing and packing for California….

You get the picture.

_____________

While I’m on the CHA track…

If you’re attending CHA in Chicago, be sure to stop by the

Graphic 45 Booth

and the

Shimmerz Booth

______________

I made this little banner awhile ago using

The Girls Paperie Line,

Paper Girl:

It was so hard to photograph hanging on the wall…

I probably should have tried a different location.

Lighting = Not Good.

I bought the cutest little green lamps at work (blame the Lighting Store)

And now I’ve been trying to bring green into my living room.

The banner helped a bit.

Yet again, I may be absent from my blog for a tick or two.

I’m still not sure if I’ll have an internet connection where I’m headed.

I may just have to hang out at a Starbucks for awhile…

…I’ll use them for their WiFi.

Just because he’s cute,

Here’s a picture of my adorable nephew, Cooper:

I’ll miss him while I’m in California.

But on the flip side,

I’ll get to smother these cuties with hugs and smooches:

Yipee!

Love those nieces of mine.

__________

Be patient with me while I’m traveling and in return,

I will try to hunt down WiFi

so that I may stop by and visit you too!

Lots of OXOXOX’s

The Girls Paperie + A Gift From Linda

Thursday, June 17th, 2010

My sweet friend, Linda gave me this fabulous little Photo holder.

Her husband made it!

I made these little 6×6 inch layouts to fit inside the sleeves:

Mr. Parker being goofy,

And Izabelle tickling her little cousin Kayla…

Parker & Izzy with Kayla:

Little Miss Addie:

The four of them together…

None of the photos I took of all four kids turned out,

they were all pretty blurry (this was the best one):

Here’s some close-ups:

I glittered everything.

And had some fun playing with my new Shimmerz products:

I’m loving all the little embellishments from The Girls Paperie!

Like the little bird in the above layout…and this layout too:

I had so much fun with this project!

I love how fast mini albums come together.

The last close-up…you can see the glitter a bit better in this photo:

Linda, thank you for the great photo holder!

Thanks for stopping by today,

I hope you have a wonderful Summer day.

The Girls Paperie {Paper Girl}

Saturday, June 5th, 2010

When I arrived home from work last night

I had two packages on the front porch

One, from Paradise Scrapbook Boutique (full of lovely Girls Paperie product)

and the other, from Shimmerz (full of lovely Shimmerz Paintz, Blingz and Spritz)

Both were happy packages!  I got right to work on a layout.

It was so hard to not use ALL of the paper and embellishments…choices, choices…

…all so beautiful.

I was inspired by The Color Room’s Palette and Sketch.

The Girls Paperie, Paper Girl line was perfect (I just had to add a little red).

I’ve been wanting to scrapook photos of my sweet little nieces too…

Photos of Cute Girls + Girls Paperie = another match made in heaven!

I love the way the finished Layout looks.

Dan (my hubby) always says that Kayla and Addie are, “All the cute in the room”.

He’s right.

They totally are.

I used new Shimmerz Pearls Teresa Collins Ballet Slipper (Pink)

and The Girls Paperie Display Letters to create the “Cuties” Title:

I used the Shimmerz Pearls, Ballet Slipper (pink)

and the Shimmerz Blingz, Under the Sea (blue)

and a white Prima Flower to create the Shimmery Flower:

Oh, and before I forget…Check out Palette #9 at The Color Room

CHA 2010 {Day Two}

Tuesday, January 26th, 2010

Overwhelmed with beauty…today was another super-fun-can’t-get-enough-must-see-more day!  CHA is a total sensory overload (in a good way).  My head is spinning and my creativity tank is reading “FULL” again.

There is just SO much to share…but here a few of my favorite photos from today:

7 Gypsies:

Vintaj:

Teresa Collins:

G.C.D. Studios:

The Girls’ Paperie:

Tim Holtz:

…just a hint of the inspiration that I felt today.
