Hello From Vegas!

Thursday, April 7th, 2011

We’re still in Vegas and still having fun!

_______________________________________________________________

While I’m away….

Here’s a little card I created using some My Minds Eye paper from ‘the stash’. There’s a bit of Shimmerz on the card…Anchor’s Away.

Here’s a little mini banner (it was hard to photograph). It reads:

LOVE TO CREATE

Each section of this banner is only 2 inches high. Definitely mini.

Graphic 45 {On the Boardwalk} Beach Layouts

Wednesday, January 5th, 2011

As part of a Christmas Gift for my brother, Adam and his wife, Vanessa, I created the following layouts of their beach trip last summer:

Just a little glitter made these “FUN” chipboard letters pop:

I love this photo of my brother with his sweet daughters – so cute!

I used some Shimmerz Spritz on this layout…I love the splattered look.

And…I had the glitter sitting on my desk so I had to add a little to this layout too.

These beach layouts make me long for Summer…not a good thing when there’s several feet of snow outside. Only er…5 months away???

I hope you have a wonderful day!

We R Memory Keepers {Maple Grove} Take Two

Thursday, November 11th, 2010

Remember when I mentioned Girls Craft Day? This Autumn page is the additional layout I created for my November calendar.

We’ve yet to take a family photo to place inside, it’s scheduled for this Sunday (weather permitting) which gives me time to get Parker and Dan haircuts.

I used a lot of Shimmerz on this layout…you should check out the Shimmerz Blog if you get a chance.  There are some amazing projects posted there. It’s worth the extra click!

Look how beautiful Shimmerz Blingz turned out when painted on chipboard!  I’m so happy with the result.

Here’s a couple extra cards I whipped up with the leftover paper from creating my layout:

So glad you chose to visit my blog today.  I hope that you’re day is as WONDERFUL as you are!

Shimmery Pumpkin Card

Thursday, October 14th, 2010

Handmade pumpkins?  Easy-peesy.

Just cut out three ovals, spritz, paint and glue together. Voila!

For the pumpkins I used: Fiery Fiesta Shimmerz Vibez and Carrot Top Shimmerz Pearlz.

Have a wonderful day!

Graphic 45 + Pennsylvania Bag Company

Monday, October 4th, 2010

I love October!

I’m so glad it’s here. I love to see the trees change colors, the cooler weather, the holiday preparations.

Halloween is definitely one of my Favorite Holidays. The kids get so excited about costumes and decorating the house…what’s not to love?

Speaking of Halloween…

When I received my design team supplies from Graphic 45 there was a brown gift bag tucked in from Pennsylvania Bag Company.

Each member was asked to design a Halloween treat bag, this is what I came up with.

I used the new Graphic 45 Core Impressions paper by, Core’dinations to create the pumpkins. I spritzed the pumkins with Fiery Fiesta Shimmerz Vibez to turn to tan embossed paper a little more orange. You can’t really tell in this photo but there are embossed clocks all over the pumpkins.

I hope that you have a fantastic week!

Exciting News!

Wednesday, September 8th, 2010

I’ve been asked to be on the Design Team for Scrap n’ Art Online Magazine!

I’m so excited – just had to share!

______________________________

I’m so behind on posting projects. Here’s a little somethin’ I created using the Heebie Jeebie collection by We R Memory Keepers:

Some detail photos:

The Paint and Spritz on the layout are by Shimmerz (of course).

The stitching on the layout was not done by me. The cardstock came this way!

Yay for We R Memory Keepers!

A simpler layout but fun to create.

Fall is in the air here in Idaho and to be honest, I’m ready for it!

Thanks for stopping by today.

My Minds Eye {Lost & Found} Portobello Road

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010

Labor Day Weekend has arrived.

I’m ready!

Before I take off to my (much anticipated) Family Reunion,

I thought I’d share another My Minds Eye Layout.

This layout came together quickly.

Almost the entire layout was created with the

My Minds Eye Lost & Found Portobello Road Line

(excluding the Wide Sheer Ribbon, Cardstock & Shimmerz).

Speaking of Shimmerz,

I used some of the Shimmerz Pearlz to create the Pin Dots in the corners of this layout.

But the sparkly, “Handsome Boy” label:

My Minds Eye.

Yep.

And the fun brads:

You guessed it,

My Minds Eye.

Love this paper.

It’s a little bit of Scrapbooker’s Heaven.

In other news:

Remember those photo albums of my Grandmother’s that my father found?

The precious and rare albums that were not destroyed in the fire?

I’m finally done scanning photos.

And almost done creating the photo CD’s for my cousins.

I thought I’d share of few of my favorites:

Grandma Clara giving my little brother, Seth his first bath.

It was a tradition that Grandma Clara gave all her grandchildren their first bath.

{You can see me in the photo…I’m in the mirror}

Left to right: Rachel Wolfe, Tarah Wolfe Livingston, Grandma Clara, Rebecca Wolfe, Corianne Wolfe and Christie Wolfe Bryant

This photo shows the nightgowns that Grandma Clara made for each of her granddaughters that lived nearby. Having a matching nightgown with my cousins is a favorite Christmas memory.

Grandma Clara on her front porch.

Grandma lived in Paradise, California for many, many years (not sure the exact number).

They don’t often get snow in Paradise

but when they do – Grandma loved it!

I can’t wait to share these (and many more) special photos with my cousins.

Thanks for stopping by,

I hope that you have a wonderful weekend!

Sassafras {Indie Girl}

Friday, August 13th, 2010

Nothing like playing with Sassafras Paper!

Darling,

sweet

little Addie.

Gosh I love this little niece of mine.

I’m having so much fun with my new Shimmerz Colors.

I used Accu-Cut Dies to cut out an “Addie” stencil and then Spritzed away.

And I used my new Shimmerz paint on the edge of the page.

I also spritzed like crazy on these precious little Vintage Tags by

Pretty Little Studio.

Such cute little girl images.

I love the little Bunting Flags!

So, so fun to play with!

Shimmers + Prima

Thursday, June 24th, 2010

I rarely create layouts with photographs of myself.

Then again, this barely counts as a layout of myself

especially if you consider the fact that only part of my face is shown.

I guess that’s just how I roll.

I had fun playing with my new Shimmerz products.

I used Shimmerz Blingz, Under the Sea

to create the sparkle on the word, “Find”

and around the word, “Place”

I also used the Blingz to create the little pin-dots on my photograph.

I played with the Shimmerz Spritz a bit too…

I spritzed the crochet flower with Jeni B Bleu

I used chipboard letters as a stencil and Spritzed them again with Jeni B Bleu

I love me some Shimmery goodness
