Graphic 45 Renaissance Faire Cards

Wednesday, May 26th, 2010

May is the Month for the Renaissance Faire Line over  on the Graphic 45 Blog.

Check out how you can win some gorgeous paper HERE.

I created some cards using the Renaissance Faire line.  I love how versatile this line is.

I gave this card to my Mother for her birthday:

And this card was made with the same Renaissance Faire Line…I ended up with a completely different look:

I used Tombow adhesives (super fun and easy to use).

Speaking of Tombow:

I also used a Tattered Angels Frame on this card.

I’m loving these frames – can you tell?  They’re ending up on a lot of my projects.

Inside the little frame is one of the Renaissance Faire Tags:

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Spread the love…tell someone close to you how much you appreciate them today!

My First Quilt…

Sewing…

It’s taken over my life.

In a good way.

I have almost completed my first quilt.

But in the meantime, I’ve made three purses, some throw pillows, an apron and a fabric bag for my son’s Nintendo DS.

I have all these ideas for Scrapbooking layouts…still my sewing machine calls to me.

My mother thinks it’s because it’s something new.

I think she’s right.

When I created this layout, I wanted to fuse my two hobbies together.

There is machine stitching and hand stitching on this layout.

I even popped in a few French Knots.

Hand stitching on a layout is not a new technique for me but machine sewing is.

I’ve been having a blast doing it!

Have a happy Monday!

Renaissance Faire {G45 May Madness}

Sunday, May 23rd, 2010

This month

on the Graphic 45 Blog

It’s Renaissance Faire May Madness.

You have to stop by and check out how to win over $100 worth of  Graphic 45 paper!

I created some projects using the Renaissance Faire Paper.

I have to admit…

I struggled with this layout a bit.

Probably because I didn’t feel the the photos and paper matched (in theme).

Oh well.

You can win them all, right?

At least some photos made it into my scrapbook (haha).

Run on over to the Graphic 45 blog and read the contest details.

Good Luck!
