Melissa Frances, Handmade Felt Flowers + A Table Runner

Wednesday, July 13th, 2011

A little Melissa Frances paper always makes everything better.

I love the softness of Melissa Frances papers.

I created this layout as a baby shower gift…just added a photo of my kids while photographing it.

A layout just isn’t the same without a photo, right?

Do you see the handmade felt flower on this layout?  I decided to make a few extra and turn them into hair accessories.

Izabelle happily modeled her’s for me. What do you think?

And while I have your attention….

Check out this amazing table runner my Mom made for me. It was my birthday gift. I love it!

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope that you’re having a memorable day!

A Little Melissa Frances + A WINNER!

Saturday, June 18th, 2011

OK. Because this layout is a baby shower gift, there is no photo.

I still had to share the little details anyway…

I absolutely LOVE this Melissa Frances paper, it is so soft and beautiful. Perfect for a baby layout, don’t you think?

For these hearts I made my own stencil using my Cricut machine.

I also painted a little heart on a circle of canvas.

Now, I just need to put this layout in a shadow box and wrap it.

Moving on…

The WINNER of the Summer Stash Giveaway is: Emily T.

Stay tuned for more chances to win, I have more giveaways coming soon!

I’m starting to scrapbook some of my more recent memories.

California

July 2010

My kids with their two little California Cousins.

I’m loving the New Melissa Frances, Kitschy Kitchen Line.

I found it here.

I added a little stitching…

Love using my sewing machine!

…made a few folded flowers.

What is the technical name for these flowers?

I need to find out.

I was inspired by this:
