CHA 2010 {Day One}

Monday, January 25th, 2010

Finally, I can share a bit of what I made for CHA!

I created this little mini album using the new Le Romantique Line for Graphic 45:

And I also created this mini album for Graphic 45 using the new On The Boardwalk Line:

Here’s a look at at the albums inside the Graphic 45 Booth at CHA 2010:

Pretty fun!  I still have to pinch myself!

Walking around the CHA booths yesterday was like entering into craft heaven!  My mom and I tagged along with the lovely ladies from Paradise Scrapbook Boutique (Karen & Deb), we had a blast!

There are so many talented scrapbookers!  I left feeling SO INSPIRED and I have another 2 FULL DAYS of inspiration ahead.

Now, for Just a few of the photos I took yesterday while browsing around the different booths.

{Making Memories} Mistletoe Mini Album

Thursday, November 12th, 2009

As promised, here are some (tons of) photos of my Making Memories Christmas Album!

I absolutely LOVE all of the Making Memories product!

I love that all of Making Memories papers have matching embellishments. I’m definitely an embellishment girl (as I’m sure you can tell).

Would you like to peek inside?

I thought so.

Here’s page one and two…along with some photos of the little details:

Moving on…

Here’s page three and four:

I stamped a flourish on this page with green ink.  It didn’t show up very well so I covered it with glitter glue.  Accidents happen.  Even in scrapbooking.

Now…page five and six:

I like the soft look of these pages.  Here’s a peek at the details:

I always have a hard time with the last two pages of a mini album.  I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s a subconscious thing…or maybe I’m just creatively spent?  I just don’t know why I struggle on the last pages but I do. I really, really do.

Here’s a look at page seven and eight:

I’m not sure if you can tell…the following photo shows paper with red glittered polka dots.  Fabulous! I loved red glittered polka dots!

Well ladies and gents – that’s all for now.  I hope you enjoyed taking a gander and my little Making Memories Christmas Mini Album.

Have a wonderful day!

I created a new banner for my blog a few days ago….here’s a little peak at what’s to come.

Making Memories + Sassafras = Baby Page

Tuesday, March 10th, 2009

Hallelujah!  A small miracle happened yesterday.  I actually found time to scrapbook!

Both Parker and Izabelle spent time with friends yesterday after school.  Suddenly my whole afternoon opened up!  It was wonderful!  I actually finished a layout!

I used the Making Memories “Flower Patch” Line and the Sassafras “Vintage Yummy” Line to create this layout of my sweet new niece, Addie:

I used Vintage buttons and a Vintage Brooch in the center of the flowers.  I love the way it turned out.

I love, love, love the Vintage Yummy line from Sassafras.  I cut out little frames from the paper and popped them up using pop-dots.

I love this little framed baby:

I got my scrapbooking fix!  Now I can move on to cleaning my house.
