The Dreaded Pop-Up Card

Friday, August 6th, 2010

One of my Graphic 45 Design Team assignments was to create a Pop-Up Card.

Until now, I had never created a ‘Pop-Up’ Card.

I actually had to ask my daughter for help.

She loves to make Pop-Up Cards.

I decided to use the tiny images on the Small Graphic 45 ‘Hallowe’en in Wonderland’ Tags.

I have to admit…I had a lot of fun making it.

When I started creating this card, I knew that I wanted to have a tiny Alice.

And a large Alice…

And the Hatter with his teacup, of course.

I love the Halloween twist on these vintage Alice in Wonderland images, they were so fun to work with.

We’re home from our California Vacation!

The kids and I had a blast visiting family and friends.

Sadly, it was not a vacation for my sweet husband who worked the entire time.

Today is (was) my hubby’s birthday (I say ‘was’ because he is now softly snoring on the couch).

Happy Birthday to my loving husband, my other half.

You fill my life with blessings every. single. day.

I love you.

Preparations For CHA and California

Sunday, July 18th, 2010

I’ve spent the weekend preparing kits for my Class in California.

And finishing up the final touches on the projects I’m sending in for

the Graphic 45 booth at CHA.

Here’s a little sneak peek at one of the projects I created using their new line,

Steampunk Debutante:

I mail off all my projects tomorrow morning,

after which,

I will take a deep breath

and

a long nap.

In other news…

My kids have been pretty cooped up the past several days.

Poor dears have suffered a bit while I’ve been busy creating.

Bad mom.

Last night I suggested we spend the evening at the Lake.

The kids were so excited (to leave the front yard).

Marley kind of liked the Lake too…

He’s a good dog.

I hope you’re enjoying your Summer!

{Graphic 45} Halloween In Wonderland Unveiled!

Wednesday, June 16th, 2010

I honestly CAN NOT WAIT to get my hands on this paper!

I ideas are flowing…

I love the tiny prints on the back of these papers.

And this sheet…

Can you see a simple Halloween banner, hanging across a doorway?

I can!

It’s so fun to see Wonderland with a Halloween Twist!

Then there is this sheet, filled with super-cute ads:

I love the add “For Manly Boys”.

This inspires me to create a Halloween-Themed table:

This sheet has to be one of my favorites.  I love the front AND the pumpkins on the back.

Sigh.

Graphic 45 has done it again.

Here’s a sheet of Boarders:

And a sheet of Tags:

Needless to say, you will be seeing lots of Graphic 45 Halloween Projects on my blog!
