We had a lot of fun here! I was able to snap a couple of photos of the kids before they headed off to school yesterday. The sun wasn’t even up yet so the photos aren’t that great.

Izabelle was Luna Lovegood.

And Parker was a Half-Zombie-Cowboy.

Apparently someone stepped on his grave so only half his face was zombie-fied. What can I say? The boy has imagination.

Do you Art Journal?

Last June I took Christy Tomlinson’s online art journaling class called, She Had Three Hearts.

I learned about so many new mediums during Christy’s class.

My art journal opened so many new ideas for mixed-media projects,

along with helping me connect with my inner-artist again.

I highly recommend Christy Tomlinson’s class!

I just arrived home from California late yesterday, more coming on that soon…I have projects to share!

It’s a GORGEOUS day! I hope you’re enjoying it!

We spent the morning watching the 4th of July parade down Main street.

I work at my father’s lighting store during the week…snapped a few photos of the big “Wolfe Lighting” light bulb.

This box truck is full of balloons. The girl in the red hat is my baby sister, she was in charge of  handing out frisbees & balloons.

Izabelle rode along with my Dad, they threw frisbees too.

It wouldn’t be Idaho without a tractor…

OK. Because this layout is a baby shower gift, there is no photo.

I still had to share the little details anyway…

I absolutely LOVE this Melissa Frances paper, it is so soft and beautiful. Perfect for a baby layout, don’t you think?

For these hearts I made my own stencil using my Cricut machine.

I also painted a little heart on a circle of canvas.

Now, I just need to put this layout in a shadow box and wrap it.
