A Valentine Mini Album

Tuesday, January 20th, 2009

I finally completed the little Valentine Mini album I was working on.

I used the new Teresa Collins Line called CRUSH.

I took SO MANY dang photos of this album that I decided it would be easier to create a separate page for all of them.  If you would like to see the complete album please CLICK HERE.

Hope you like it!

Valentine Mini Book

Monday, January 5th, 2009

I used the new Teresa Collins “Crush” paper and my Bind-it-All to create this sweet little mini album.

I love working with Teresa’s papers, they’re perfect when you need to create something special in no time.

This little book isn’t complete but I thought I’d show you a few close ups of what I’ve done so far…

I’ll share more photos when I complete the project.

Have a great day!

Big Plans…

Saturday, July 19th, 2008

I always seem to have “Big Plans” for my Saturdays…I can’t ever seem to accomplish all that I want to squeeze into that one day every week.  Do you have this problem with Saturdays too?  Right now I have so many irons in the fire I think I’m going to burn the house (or my brain) down.

Around an round she goes…where she’ll stop, nobody knows!

Yes, I know this is a pretty random post…

The above photo is a little Chinese takeout box that I covered with some of the new paper from Graphic 45’s Botanica Bella Line.  I love being on their design team, seriously…their paper is so beautiful and easy to work with!

This is the class I am teaching up at Paradise Scrapbook Boutique today:

A fun summer paper bag album, bound together with (my fave) the Bind-it-all.  Nice.

And NEXT Saturday I’m teaching a Two-page Layout using Teresa Collins - Travelogue paper.  I love to work with this paper…tons of fun and very versatile, did I say I love this paper?

The photos on the layout are from our trip to Disneyland last September…I can’t believe it’s almost been A YEAR since we went last…it seems like it was just yesterday.  Man, these days (weeks, years) just fly!

So my big plans….?

Teach, clean, create, play.  Oh, and maybe get some rose bushes planted….cross your fingers!

What are your big plans?  Love to hear ‘em!

Fun with BIND-IT-ALL

Saturday, June 14th, 2008

I purchased my own Zutter Bind-it-all at the last big scrapbooking crop I attended at Paradise Scrapbook Boutique. I have REALLY enjoyed using it! I can bind whatever I want!

First things first, remember that huge mess on my desk the other night? Before I could possible start another project I had to clean it up.

Ah, much better.

Alrighty. I started with some random little ATC pages from 7 Gypsies. Then I grabbed Jenni Bowlin Tags…a bit of Teresa Collins paper, some Tim Holtz tags and the I chalked it all and punched holes in each page with the Bind-it-all!

To be completely honest, my Bind-it-all has been catching my eye for the past few days…I just really wanted to use the thing so I created a reason to do it! I’m glad I did because I ended up with this little mini journal sorta book:

Now, what to use it for…hmmm…maybe I’ll use it to write down all the cute thing my kids say…?

Give it away again (ENTER TO WIN THIS ALBUM)…

Friday, May 16th, 2008

Because I love to give stuff away AND I love Teresa Collin’s paper…I’ve decided to give another one of these 6″x6″ mini albums away. Yup, you read that right…

If you post a comment I will enter you into the drawing to WIN THIS ALBUM! The drawing will be held next Sunday (May 24th, 2008). I will enter one comment per person per day. You may leave a comment on any blog post you wish.

Having fun with Travelouge…

Monday, May 12th, 2008

I just picked up Teresa Collin’s new Travelouge line while at a PSB crop this weekend.  I also purchased a BIND IT ALL (I am SO excited about it).  Seriously, this new line of T. Collins is so easy to work with…and with the BIND IT ALL you can have a complete album in no time!   The photos above are the cover of a Washington D.C. album.  I’ve been wanting to put photos of DC in an album for almost 2 years now…what a fun way to complete it!

I’ll post the “little details” from this album soon!

I hope you all had a wondeful Monday!

Tiny little details

Tuesday, March 18th, 2008

They’re my FAVORITE part of creating a scrapbook page layout. I love to add the little details. I think that’s why I’ve been enjoying the ATC cards (all there is room for is detail).

The little things, that is how I put the “love” in my memory albums (no matter how big or small). The little details tell my story…the little extra “thought” that I put into creations to let my family and friends know that I care. What do you enjoy most about scrapbooking? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Can’t get enough of that ATC!

Saturday, March 15th, 2008

OK, I’m determined to finish my “2007″ ATC Holder! I love the tiny details one can place on the ATC Cards. What can I say, it’s fun! I hope you enjoy them too. I’m still loving those Teresa Collins papers, they’re two-sided and so, so versatile! I also used some Maya Roads, Jenni Bowlin and 7gypsies!
