Graphic 45 {Domestic Goddess} Yet Again…

Saturday, November 20th, 2010

This is the last project that I created while I had my Domestic Goddess paper sitting on my desk.

I truly do love this line.  Probably because I aspire to be a Domestic Goddess myself.

I’m currently taking ongoing Parenting 101 classes and have taken many trial and error cooking courses through the years. I still haven’t figured out how to completely stay on top of the laundry and I take serious  issue with dusting.  However, I have conquered the vacuuming and mopping courses and have learned how to make a bathroom sparkle.  I admit, I do enjoy a clean house and a warm home-cooked meal.

What am I in desperate need of these days? A class on how to raise a teenager. Whew!

Have a lovely weekend!

Me? I’ll be watching the snow fall outside and enjoying every minute of it.

More G45 Domestic Goddess…

Monday, November 15th, 2010

I’ve been having a bit of fun with Domestic Goddess Line.

I love this paper!

A little mini garland…it will look great in my kitchen!

It’s already been a doozy of a Monday here in Idaho. I am grateful for this moment to catch my breath and share a project with you.

I often take these stolen moments for granted, time that I can spend doing what I love and visiting others that share their time and talents as well (that’s YOU).

Thank you for taking time out of your day to spend here. It’s always wonderful to think that I have friends and family that are actually interested in my little projects.   It means more than you know.

Have a WONDERFUL day!

Lot’s of xoxo’s,

Christie

Graphic 45 {Domestic Goddess}

Mini album madness!

This little diddy came together quickly.

It practically created itself.

What I’m trying to say is…

This line of paper is so fabulous that one really does not have to do much to create something beautiful with it.

The Domestic Goddess line is not entirely black, red and white…

…just the pattern papers that I chose to use for this project.

There are some beautiful blues and pastels also (I’ll be sharing some additional projects soon).

Have a wonderful, wonderful day!

Graphic 45 Fashionsita {Haute Couture}

Friday, November 5th, 2010

Revisiting the past is always fun.  I made one of these simple  little garlands when Graphic 45 first came out with their Fashionista line.

One sheet of the Haute Couture can make two garlands!

The only other supplies needed are: Black cardstock, black ribbon and charms.

I made a couple more of these babies for a craft show next weekend.

Happy Friday!

An Oldie but Goodie…

Monday, November 1st, 2010

My talented friend, Courtney recently moved from Idaho to Washington (miss that girl).  She’s fitting right in there (like I knew she would).  Courtney has already rented booths at two different craft fairs.

Courtney asked me if I would like to send her  some of my creations and she would try to sell them. I had been holding on to some items for quite awhile and was excited at the opportunity to sell them.

My little Graphic 45 “Cheer” mini garland was one of the items that sold. So fun!

I better start whipping out some more creations…the next craft fair is only a couple weeks away.

Izabelle’s Zombie Virus {Graphic 45 + Shimmerz}

Monday, October 18th, 2010

For those of you who know my daughter, Izabelle, you know that she’s a super-fun kid!

Belle had a blast with a “Zombie Virus” Halloween label.  She stuck it on a can of lemonade and then pretended to become a Zombie.

I took some photos put together this layout using Graphic 45 Hallowe’en in Wonderland and some Shimmerz paintz.  Dripping some Peas Be Mine Shimmerz Pearlz on the tag created a slime effect.

Remember this card?  I used the same idea for the pumpkins on this layout.

We’re getting close to Halloween now…only a couple of weeks!

Christmas Cards {Graphic 45}

Tuesday, September 14th, 2010

*Photo removed for publication*

It’s not quite Christmas yet…we’re barely even getting ready for Halloween but I received my Graphic 45 Design Team package yesterday and it felt like Christmas.

*Photo removed for publication*

I love the Graphic 45 Christmas Past line, it so timeless – just love the vintage feel of it.

I played with my Shimmerz Paintz a bit too.

The Shimmerz Blingz created a beautiful border around the “Merry Christmas” title.

I pulled out my sewing machine too (love to combine sewing with scrapbooking) – so fun!

I played with Shimmerz again on the “Christmas Joy is in my Heart” card. I used the color, Angel Wings. I spread it on the Angel’s wings (and the title) – a bit fitting don’t you think?

Here’s a closer look at the Angel’s Wings:

And the cute little peppermint candy charms. I found them HERE.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

I hope that you’re having a blessed week.

The Dreaded Pop-Up Card

Friday, August 6th, 2010

One of my Graphic 45 Design Team assignments was to create a Pop-Up Card.

Until now, I had never created a ‘Pop-Up’ Card.

I actually had to ask my daughter for help.

She loves to make Pop-Up Cards.

I decided to use the tiny images on the Small Graphic 45 ‘Hallowe’en in Wonderland’ Tags.

I have to admit…I had a lot of fun making it.

When I started creating this card, I knew that I wanted to have a tiny Alice.

And a large Alice…

And the Hatter with his teacup, of course.

I love the Halloween twist on these vintage Alice in Wonderland images, they were so fun to work with.

In other news…

We’re home from our California Vacation!

The kids and I had a blast visiting family and friends.

Sadly, it was not a vacation for my sweet husband who worked the entire time.

Today is (was) my hubby’s birthday (I say ‘was’ because he is now softly snoring on the couch).

Happy Birthday to my loving husband, my other half.

You fill my life with blessings every. single. day.

I love you.

Graphic 45 {Steampunk Debutante}

I’m loving the new Steampunk Debutante line

by, Graphic 45

Here is yet another project that I created for

CHA Summer 2010

(Craft and Hobby Association Trade Show in Chicago).

I only had a few days to put some projects together

and then send them off for CHA.

My assignments included a banner, 3 layouts

and a pop-up card.

A pop-up card?

That’s another post for another day.

Included in my Design Team Package

was a couple of the new Graphic 45 Envelope Albums.

I was instructed to create an album after I had finished with my assignments

and only if there was still time.

I was so excited about the albums…

so much so that I had a hard time coming up with Layout ideas.

I made time to create a little mini album.

Even if I was up until 2am the night before I had to mail my projects off.

2 am, schmoo-am.

I enjoyed making this little mini.

It’s not my typical style,

so it was fun to just play with paper.

I included some fun quotes.

And generally just had a good time.

I went to town with my scissors.

This little book makes me happy.

Scrapbooking makes me happy.

Creating something new makes me happy.

I guess you could say that I am one happy lady.

I

Happy is good.
