Family, Fun, and Halloween Costumes

Sunday, October 30th, 2011

This family photo was taken last July. It is so amazing to have my entire “Wolfe” family in a photo together.

Can you believe it’s already outdated? In the short span of 3 months, my sister-in-law, Kristin had her baby (she’s pregnant in the photo) and my other sister-in-law, Vanessa (the tiny woman on the left) found out she is pregnant. I love how my family has grown! Best of all, I love being “Aunt Christie”.

For the longest time my kids did not have any first cousins. Parker was the first grandchild on Dan’s side of the family and my side too…Izabelle was the second. I finally became an aunt with my sweet little niece, Kayla. Now the Wolfe family is growing like crazy! I love it!

Have you noticed that I haven’t been around much this week? I’ve been SUPER busy both with work and with family fun!

I have tons of Scrap n’ Art projects that I can’t wait to share with you.

This week we’ve had loads of Halloween fun here in Idaho.

Friday night we ventured out to the Haunted Mill. It was tons of spoooooooky fun! I think Izabelle had her eyes closed almost the entire time.

The Haunted Mill was was pretty darn scary if I do say so myself.

Then Saturday night we got lost in The Straw Maze. We went after dark the when maze becomes “haunted” and seriously fun!

It was so crazy to try to find my way through a straw maze in the dark…with spooks jumping out around corners and in tunnels.

Crazy. Scary. FUN!

Again, I think Izabelle had her eyes closed almost the entire time.

We also enjoyed shopping at Halloween City last week. Izabelle and Parker tested out all sorts of costumes.

I’ll be sure to post photos of the kids in their real costumes on Monday they’re pretty fantastic!

“Little Sprout” Book

Wednesday, June 24th, 2009

I’ve been knee deep in Graphic 45 projects…oh, how I wish I could share them.  And I will. Soon.

For now, I’ll share a simple little book I made using the Little Sprout Collection by Crate Paper.

The line also has fun glittered die-cuts and matching rub-ons.  So fun to use!

The Little Sprout Collection was perfect for a baby book.  I wanted to create a book that would work for either boy or girl (although it does lean a little more toward the boy side).

As I said before, the book is very simple…not my usual full of embellishments-style.

It is what it is.  Go on, take a gander…

Not too fancy, but it was fun to create this little album…It flew together really quick thanks to all those cute little glitter die-cuts and my Bind-it-all machine.

I’ll share the girly version tomorrow.

Mother\'s Day Album

In all honesty, I’ve been really sick the last couple of days (no worries, I know that nobody likes a downer – I’m doing better).  Although (to make excuses) being sick has set me behind a little.  I’m still shooting for my site launch tomorrow….Wish me luck!

Mother’s Day Album – the details

Tuesday, April 22nd, 2008

I worked on a Mother’s Day album at a crop over the weekend and it got me thinking about my Mom.

I am so very blessed to have such a wonderful Mother. She has shown me how to be a great mom through her own example. She is kind and creative, she is tender, sweet and helpful. My Mom is generous with her time and talents, she has taught me the blessings of service. And most important she has been there to laugh and dream with, she is my greatest friend.

There are so many wonderful things to say about my mother, but never enough words to express how much I love her.

Thank you Mom for being there through the heartaches and the sweet victories. Thank you for sharing in a “life’s moments”- the good, the bad, and the just plain silly…My life is so much richer because of you!
