Handmade Cards

Thursday, April 18th, 2013

I love handmade cards, I wish that I had time to make a handmade card for all card-giving occasions.

My grandmother is one of the few people that receives my handmade cards on a regular basis, probably because she appreciates them so much. Grandma loves to send notes in the mail so I made her some handmade cards to send out, she loved them so much that she kept them instead of mailing them out. Sweet, right? I just love her!

Thank you for stopping by today, I hope that you have a marvelous day!

My Mind’s Eye {All is Bright}

Sunday, November 11th, 2012

The man in the big red suit, that would by my dad. And this particular Santa Clause is holding his grandson, Tucker.

Last Christmas was Tucker’s very first. It’s hard to believe that a year has flown by so quickly.

I know, I know, it’s been awhile since I’ve posted any projects. Lately the word, “busy” seems to be an understatement when referring to my life. It’s more like “chaotic” or maybe the word to describe my life should be “frantic”.

I guess “busy” works.

I’ve been busy.

I created these little My Mind’s Eye diddies for Paradise Scrapbook Boutique.

I love everything about this line. Mostly because I just plain adore My Mind’s Eye paper.

And My Mind’s Eye + Christmas = MAGIC!

I know that I haven’t been around much lately, but I appreciate you hanging in there with me friend!

XOXO, Christie

Autumn Paper by Imaginisce

Saturday, October 13th, 2012

Just sharing a few Autumn projects that I created for the Glue Arts Blog.

I love this time of year, Autumn is my very favorite season.

I’ve been busy with holiday crafting, Fall canning (chili sauce, mustard pickles, apple sauce, apple butter, etc.), and traveling. I went HERE (Simply amazing!) and HERE last week.

Life never seems to slow down but life is good.

XOXO, Christie

My Mind’s Eye {Sweetest Thing}

Thursday, August 30th, 2012

I love to play with paper, it’s a fact.

Karen at Paradise Scrapbook Boutique knows this fact.

Because she knows this fact, she allows me to play with her new product to make samples for her gorgeous store.

My Mind’s Eye was particularly fun to play with.

Stop by the Paradise Scrapbook Blog and check out their new product!

Prima Marketing: Nature Garden

Monday, August 27th, 2012

I created this little card using Gloria Stengel’s card sketch for Scrap n’ Art last June.

Gloria is such a talented woman. And man, can she put a card together or what?

The Nature’s Garden line from Prima is so beautiful. I love the soft beautiful pastels.

And the gorgeous images in this line are perfect for “fussy cutting” your own embellishments.

We R Memory Keepers {Good Day Sunshine}

Monday, July 9th, 2012

Thanks for stopping by today…I know my blog has been very neglected.

Summer is in full swing and I’ve been enjoying the extra time with my family. I’ve taken dozens (if not hundreds) of photos, so I’m sure there will be no lack of scrapbooking projects to share here in the near future. For now, my blog will remain, for the most part, neglected. July is my busiest month of the year!  I will traveling but will try to post when I can. And of course, I will be checking in on your happening when I can too!

I hope you’re well!

xoxo, Christie

P.S.

Here are a couple of photos from my 30 Strangers shoot with Justin Hackworth:

My grandmother, Louise, my mother, Diane, myself and my daughter, Izabelle. Four generations! Pretty amazing!

Me and my Mommy.

Teresa Collins {Sweet Afternoon}

Saturday, June 16th, 2012

Ah, baby Jack. Such a darling little guy.

Vanessa sent me these photos of her little Jack a few days ago…

You better believe they’ll be featured in a layout soon!

Here are a couple cards that I created with my scraps…

I love this Teresa Collins line, so soft and pretty.

I hope you’re enjoying your Father’s Day weekend!

Go spoil the Dad’s in your life.

Little Miss Kayla. I can’t get enough of this sweet little niece of mine.

She is so darn adorable, I can’t stand it!

Sometimes I wish I could stop her from growing. OK, I wish it almost all of the time.

It’s amazing to me how fast children grow.

Here’s a sneak peek of the Teresa Collins “Sweet Afternoon” class that I designed for Paradise Scrapbook Boutique. Want a closer look? Check it out HERE.

Have a gorgeous day!

Has it been 7 1/2 months since Tucker was born? I still remember Cooper’s face when he met Tuck for the first time. He had no idea what he was in for.

I have been so blessed to live so close to these cuties. I get to see them at least once a week.

Cooper is so sweet to his little brother, constantly kissing him and giving him toys to play with.

I love watching both Cooper and Tuck grow. I’m a lucky auntie.

I’m back in Idaho and still recovering from my long drive and crazy allergies.

I think my California allergies turned into a sinus infection, a small price to pay for the beauty that surrounded me while I was there.

Soon, I’ll be back in the swing of things.

Cards and More Cards

Monday, March 19th, 2012

A few of the cards I have created of late…

All but the first card were made with leftover papers and embellishments cluttering up my desk.

The first card was made for my sister-in-law, Vanessa. I sent it to her for her baby shower. Speaking of BABY, my brad new nephew, Jackson, was born this morning in the early hours. I’m so excited to meet him (I’ll be in California soon)! I’ll post photos on my blog so you can all delight in his adorableness with me.

I hope you have a fabulous week!
