Banner Week Project #1: The Rub-on Banner
While I was playing with scrapbooking product over the weekend, I realized just how many banner options there are in the wide world of scrapbooking. Banners are a hot commodity and I don’t foresee their popularity waning anytime soon.
So. I decided to challenge myself to create several projects using different types of banners.
Enter Project #1: The Rub-on Banner entitled, “Long Hair”
These particular rub-on transfers are by My Mind’s Eye. I should have taken a photo of the package before I opened it but I didn’t come up with this silly “Banner Week” idea until I was already four projects in.
Oh-buh-kay-bee…moving on.
Parker and I had this ridiculous banter about his hair getting way to long. Parker said he would never cut it. Never ever. ever.
Or so he thought.
Mom always wins. Bwahhh haaa haaaa!
The photo of Parker in this “Long Hair” layout is now considered his “before” haircut photo.
I should also mention that I was completely inspired by this week’s palette and sketch from The Color Room.

I just adore the layering of your layout and what a wonderful take on the palette, and the sketch influence on this layout is just absolutely LOVELY, great stuff!!!

I so love banners…all shapes…all sizes!! Your LO is awesome Love all the layers and you crack we up …a mom always wins…so true…until they grow up lol!
