Christmas Past Garland

This is a little project that I put together for a Graphic 45 tutorial.

When G45 posts this project on their blog, I’ll be sure to post a link.

My good friend, Karen (from Paradise Scrapbook Boutique) sent me a box full of goodies in the mail yesterday.  She included some of the new Making Memories “Vintage Findings” and the new October Afternoon paper.  I was jumping for joy! – I’ve been drooling over this stuff every since I saw it on her blog.  Sweet Karen, she sure knows what a like!

I ended up adding some of the elements Karen sent me to the already finished G45 garland (guess I wasn’t as finished as I thought I was).

I attached the gold sequence by sewing little french knots.

It’s amazing how creative I feel when I’m surrounded with new product.

Some more details…

I even found a use for a little yo-yo:

My sister and I are headed to Salt Lake tomorrow night.  We get to meet The Pioneer Woman at her cookbook signing.  Afterward, Emilee and I are staying the night with my Grandparents who live near.  I’m not sure which I’m more excited about!

    Christie,
This garland looks fab! I may have to buy some extra Christmas Past so I can have one too! Love your little yo-yos. Haven’t seen those in a spell. They would look great on a layout as something different. Love your positive attitude! That can make any day better!
