Much Needed Girl Time
I spend all day Saturday at Paradise Scrapbook Boutique. First teaching class, then just hanging out with the girls for the Saturday night crop.
I didn’t realise how much I needed this little “getaway” until I was there. I had so much fun! I laughed so hard I cried. I talked about my husband and children and discussed similar experiences with other women. I visited with a Mom with an Autistic child (like myself). I bonded with these women. I love my scrapbooking friends!
I came in to Paradise Scrapbook Boutique Saturday morning with my cup half-empty and left that night with my cup overflowing.
It is amazing how what friends and scrapbooking can do for my soul. Thanks ladies!

Cristi…It was good medicine for all of us and it had nothing to do with the sweet smell of good paper or stinky punch glue! Of course, for scrapbookers, those aphrodiasiacs can’t hurt either!

I’ve never scrapbooked with people I don’t know. Actually I’ve never scrapbooked with anyone before. I am frequently invited but I have everything I need right here, wierd right?
I quilted for years and I loved going to quilting classes and quilting clubs and quilting circles.
Perhaps I need to branch out again. Or maybe not. Don’t you be making me think about this!

How pretty is your Album Christie !?!? * Girl Time* certainly does make a difference !!! “A Crop” means you actually create a Page … Yes??? I’m on a steep learning curve with Scrapbooking terms - Forgive Me…………!!!

I felt the same way, Christie. You girls made my day! Wait….you made my week! So thank YOU, Christie (I really needed that laughing to tears bout). Becky, we miss our Becky. Candid Carrie…branch out. Believe me, no one but Christie ever really gets any scrapbooking done (do we?). It’s all about the girl time.

I know what you mean about the scrapping break with the girls. I am going this Friday evening with my regulars, and I can’t wait. Sometimes we only get a couple of pages done…but we have a BLAST!
