Unplugged…

Hello friends! If you didn’t notice…I took a day to “unplug” from the computer. I’ve been a little obsessed with reading blogs the last few weeks, especially since I found my new “SITS” (The Secret is in the Sauce) sisters. I can’t believe how many amazing blogs are out there. So many amazing women (and men). So many true stories, women sharing my struggles and making me laugh that before I know it, I’ve lost 3 hours in cyber-space. So, I had to take a break.

The break did some good. I finally got caught up on the HUGE pile of laundry, vacuumed my carpets, etc. You know…the normal daily stuff that I’ve been slacking on.

I’ve also been working on some fun projects and pages for Graphic 45. I love working with their paper and wish that I could show off my projects. Alas, I must wait until early July (after their release date). I promise I’ll show you some of the fun things I’ve been working on. For now I posted a picture of a book I made awhile back…just to keep you all wanting more, right?

Speaking of Graphic 45, they’ve asked me to teach a class for them in Southern California this August. I don’t have all the details yet but I’ll share them as I find out more!

Well, now that I’m “Back in the Saddle” with my blog…stay tuned – I’ll be giving away a homemade project soon!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog. And especially thank you for this great blog. I am a scrapaholic with very little time now that I am in school full-time. I still love to get ideas from other people and create when I get a few moments. Thanks for the inspiration. I’ll be back.

Hey, SITS sista!! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I love the picture header at the top of yours.

It’s such a good idea to unplug for a day. I lost my Internet connect for an hour or so yesterday, and I was impressed by how much I got done during that hour. I need to pull myself away more often…but there are so many awesome blogs to read!!! hehe

    Nice to meet you!

I know…going back to real life is necessary when you’ve donned your last pair of clean undies. It’s weird. I’ve been lost in my blog for a few weeks and recently took a step back and have decided that I will give myself a set time to work on my own blog and comment but aside from that I have to enjoy the Summer before it’s gone :)

You do need to teach a class, for us dummies that don’t know HOW to make cute things, I love looking at your crafts

  17. Tiffany Says:

I am in Southern CA! Where is the class, how do I sign up?! Do I have to be as talented as you are???

  18. Jaci Says:

Look at you, you creative genius! Seriously, my scrapbooks look like a 5th grade craft project. They are so sad–and I really TRY! That’s the bad part! I opened my wedding scrapbook yesterday and almost DIED–I cheaped out on glue and used Elmer’s Rubber Cement, and let me tell you–there are huge BLOBS OF YELLOW GOO on the paper and things are falling off. It didn’t even last 5 years. I should have listened and bought the expensive scrapbooking supplies.

Anyway, I feel you on the computer break. It is my newest addiction, and my husband and daughter are getting fed up with me. Eeek! :)
