Beauty In The Little Things…
I was ordering my brother & sister-in-law’s wedding cake yesterday at Mim’s Bakery here in Chico. My goodness it’s hard to make decisions for a bride that is 2 states away! However, I was drawn to how beautiful the cakes were. They had some tiny little cakes on display and I thought to myself: Those little cakes are piece of art in themselves! The thought and time the the baker put into these tiny cakes…I can only imagine the time it’s going to take to bake and decorate a wedding cake (no wonder they’re so expensive)! Of course I had to buy a couple of the tiny ones – they were only $3! I could spend that much on a soda and a candy bar!
And I thought scrapbooking was artful, you have to check out these beautiful little cakes:

those look so yummy but i wouldn’t even want to eat them because they’re so pretty. i love mim’s bakery, they make the best stuff.
